NAMPA, Idaho – The Seattle Pacific University men's basketball team's three-game winning streak came to an end on the road against Northwest Nazarene on Thursday night, where the Nighthawks used a second half push to squeak past the Falcons 67-64.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Falcons opened the game with an 11-6 run over the Nighthawks.
- Trace Evans was dominant during that stretch, scoring nine of the Falcons' 11 points during the six-minute run.
- SPU closed out the final four minutes of the first half with a 12-5 run.
- The Falcons went 4-for-5 from the field, including two 3-pointers.
- Julian Mora and Connor Drinkwine scored five points each during that span.
- The Falcons led 34-22 at halftime.
- The Nighthawks erased their deficit with a three-minute 13-0 run to open the second half, giving the home team a 35-34 lead with 17 minutes left in the game.
- SPU answered with another 12-5 run that lasted four minutes.
- Drinkwine stayed hot, hitting a pair of 3-pointers during the run.
- The Falcons led 46-40 with 13 minutes left in the game.
- Momentum swings continued to be violent, as NNU's 10-2 run gave them a 50-48 lead with 8:23 to go.
- SPU got the lead back with a 7-2 run, capped by a jumper from Henry Sandberg.
- The Falcons led 55-52 with six minutes remaining.
- The Nighthawks used a 14-6 run over the next five minutes to take a 66-61 lead with 45 seconds left.
- The Falcons didn't go away quietly, as Sandberg banked home a 3-pointer to pull within two of the Nighthawks with 20 seconds left.
- The SPU defense forced a turnover on the inbound play, giving them a chance to tie or take the lead at the end of regulation.
- Mora dribbled the clock down to the final moments and had a mid-range jumper that would have tied the game with four seconds left, but it bounced off the rim and into the hands of the Nighthawks.

- The Falcons shot 46.3 percent (25-for-54) from the field while going 9-for-15 (60 percent) from 3-point range.
- Evans led the Falcons with a team-high 16 points with six rebounds and one block.
- Mora was sensational for the Falcons, scoring 10 points with a team-high nine rebounds and a team-high five assists.
- Drinkwine finished with 13 points while going 4-for-7 from the field, while grabbing four rebounds.
- Sandberg scored 11 points with four rebounds.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Mora set a new career high in rebounds with nine for the Falcons on Thursday night.
