"As a team, we have grown this year; we have taken big strides in our defense, full-court press, and shooting," head coach Karen Byers said. "We have one of the youngest rosters, and I am proud of how we stepped up and competed in our league. No game was easy, and we fought each game until the end. This week, I want to put an exclamation point on our season. By focusing on defense and rebounding, we can put together two strong away games and finish the season proud of all our hard work. We are building a program for the future, and I am excited for what is ahead."

"It's senior week, and most of our focus will be on celebrating Nikias, Logan, Grant, and Julian," head coach Keffrey Fazio said.  "These four men have represented our university and basketball program with complete class and excellence. Each of them has helped us win basketball games and has had some big moments on the playing surface. However, their impact on our program goes far beyond competition. Each of these guys has earned all-academic awards and acknowledgments. They have built and maintained a culture in our program that I am most proud of. What makes SPU men's basketball special is when the game stops, the memories, the friendship, and the culture are what we remember."
