SEATTLE – College Sports Communicators announced its Academic All-District award winners on Tuesday, with Seattle Pacific's
Grace Turley,
Haylie-Anne Ohta,
Grace Mertes, and
Trace Evans earning recognition for the Falcons.
Turley appeared in 27 games for the Falcons and started 25 games. She averaged 11.0 points per game and went 83.7 percent from the free throw line. Turley pulled down 86 rebounds for an average of 3.2 rebounds per game. She scored a season-high 33 points against Alaska Anchorage on Jan. 20. Turley, a 3.65 GPA accounting major, touts a 3.65 GPA. She earned GNAC All-Academic Honors and added CSC Academic All-District to her list of accomplishments.
Ohta appeared in 27 games for the Falcons and made 26 starts. She averaged 6.7 points per game and shot 39.2 percent from the field. Ohta grabbed 4.0 rebounds per game and dished out 3.2 assists per game. She scored a season-high 17 points against Alaska Fairbanks on Jan. 22. Ohta made her second appearance on the GNAC All-Academic team as an exercise science major with a 3.76 GPA. Now, she adds her first appearance on the CSC Academic All-District honoree list.
Mertes appeared in 26 games for the Falcons and made 14 starts. She averaged 6.4 points and shot 31.0 percent from three-point range. Mertes averaged 3.6 rebounds per game. She scored a season-high 17 points against Alaska Anchorage on Jan. 22. Mertes studies Physiology and has a 3.74 GPA. She was a member of the GNAC All-Academic team and earned CSC Academic All-District for the first time.
Evans appeared in and started 26 games for the Falcons and averaged 25.2 minutes per game. He scored 13.6 points per game with a 50.7 percent shooting percentage from the field. Evans scored a season-high 22 points against Western Oregon on Jan. 3. He surpassed 1,000 career points at SPU during the 2025-26 season and capped off the year with 1,167 points with the Falcons. Evans added 5.1 rebounds per game to his production for the Falcons. Evans is working on his master's degree in Data Analytics with a 3.85 GPA. He was a three-time All-GNAC team selection and has picked up his third CSC Academic All-District honor.
