PORTLAND, Ore. – The Great Northwest Athletic Conference announced its Women's Golf All-Academic Team on Friday afternoon, with six members of the Seattle Pacific University women's golf team earning recognition for their work in the classroom, the most of any team in the conference.
To qualify for Academic All-Conference, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20, be in their second season or later competing for their team, and have competed during the 2025-26 season. With SPU women's golf being in its second year of competition, it's the first time the Falcons have been represented on the GNAC Women's Golf All-Academic Team.
"When putting together our first recruiting class, it was important that we identified those who would represent our University the right way," head coach
Tyler Copp said. "These six individuals adjusted well to the rigors of SPU academics and put in a lot of work prioritizing their schoolwork. It really shows how well they've been able to manage their time and communicate with professors. Being recognized for this while being in-season for all three quarters each year is no small feat."
The Falcons tee it up at the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Championships in a three-round tournament on April 20-22 at the CDA Resort Golf Course in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
