FROM THE COACH
"The team is a little nervous about the snow and cold, but we are also excited to head up to Alaska to compete in our final conference games," head coach Jason Rhine said. "Something unique about the GNAC (at least in volleyball) is that we play the same two teams the first weekend and last weekend of conference play.  This means it is a great opportunity to see how our team has grown throughout the season and to see the differences between an early-season matchup and a late-season matchup."

"Fairbanks and Anchorage both have great gyms, and there are conference championship and regional seeding implications for both of those teams this weekend," Rhine said. "Hopefully, that means our matches will have great intensity, and it may also mean that those teams feel a little extra pressure that we can take advantage of by playing aggressively and joyfully to finish strong."
