- SPU fell 83-43 at Saint Martin's last Thursday night.
- Grace Leasure's 19 points were the most she's scored in a single game in her career.

- Layne Kearns had a team-high seven rebounds for the Falcons against the Saints.
- The Falcons picked up their first GNAC victory of the season last Saturday against Western Oregon, 80-58.

- Leasure was named the GNAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week on Monday.

- Leasure leads the conference with 2.2 blocks per game.
- She leads the team in field goal percentage by shooting 51 percent, is averaging the third-most points per game with 9.1, and is third on the team in rebounds with 4.9 per game.

Keffrey Fazio said. "We're hoping to use some of that momentum this week at home against two really good teams. Our conference, you have to be ready to battle every night, and we will prepare to do just that on Thursday, beginning with Central Washington."

- Brant Heppner was the hero for the Falcons, hitting a 3-pointer in overtime with 27 seconds left to give SPU the lead, before blocking a shot on the next possession to help close out the game.
- Mora finished with a game-high 17 points and tied for a team-high six rebounds against the Red Leafs.
- Evans helped the Falcons off the bench with 14 points and tied Mora with a team-high six rebounds.
- Connor Drinkwine scored 12 points while Coleman added 11 points for the Falcons on Saturday.
- McMillan tied for a game-high six assists for the Falcons on Saturday.

ABOUT THE FALCONS
- The Falcons return to competition for the first time since the Spokane Invitational on Dec. 13 this weekend at the UW Preview in Seattle.
- Newcomer Tawaf Aboudou set school records in the 60-meter dash and the long jump at the Spokane Invitational.
- Tawaf Aboudou broke the SPU men's indoor track & field 60-meter dash record with a 6.86.
- Robert Joshua broke the previous record at last year's GNAC Championships.
- Aboudou joined Joshua as the only SPU men's sprinters to go sub seven seconds in the 60-meter dash.
- Aboudou wasn't finished, adding a school record in the long jump with a leap of 23-06.00.
- Aboudou 23-6 long jump beat a school record that had stood since 2009, beating out Justin Felt's jump of 23-2.75.
- Alexa Gossett turned in a solid performance in the 5,000-meter run, taking first place with a time of 18:30.08.
- Hannah Chang picked up the new indoor season where she left off last season, winning the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.76.
- Justin Brooks took home the 400-meter dash victory for the Falcons with a 48.38.
