ABOUT THE FALCONS
- On Feb. 17, at the GNAC Indoor Championships, Hannah Chang won the 60-meter hurdles by .01 with a time of 8.52.
- Chang's time beat Maliea Luquin's SPU record of 8.53, set March 11, 2016, at NCAA indoor preliminaries in Pittsburg, Kansas.
- It was just 0.02 seconds off the GNAC indoor record of 8.51 seconds, set by Central Washington's Mariyah Vongsaveng in 2017.
- Chang enters the NCAA Indoor National Championships ranked 14th and will compete in preliminaries on Friday at 12:00 p.m. PST.
- The finals of the 60-meter hurdles happen on Saturday at 12:55 p.m. PST.
- The Falcons opened their outdoor season at the Ed Boitano Invitational last Saturday.
- Brooke Mosby won the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.37.
- She added a second-place finish in the 200-meter dash with a 25.64.
- Alexa Gossett ran a 17:50.34 in the 5,000-meter run, earning a second-place finish in the event.
- Lysandra Plant competed in javelin, throwing 122-08 to earn second place in the event.
- Ayla Pontius took third in the 800 meters with a time of 2:18.61.
- Anna Prussian finished third in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 36:50.64, while Matise Mulch finished fifth in the race with a time of 37:25.34.
- Andrew Bell finished the 110-meter hurdles in 14.79, taking second place in the event.
- Tawaf Aboudou ran a 48.88 in the 400-meter dash and finished fourth.
- Avery Erickson clocked a 15:15.33 in the 5,000-meter run to finish fifth.
- Mason Hrcek and Thomas Worby cleared 13-05 in pole vault, finishing third and fourth, respectively.
