SEATTLE – College Sports Communicators announced its Women's Volleyball Academic All-District teams, with Seattle Pacific's
Amaya Evans,
Brooke Williams, and
Makayla Hickman earning recognition for their work in the classroom and on the court.
"Excited for Amaya, Brooke, and Makayla to be recognized with this award," head coach
Jason Rhine said. "All three put lots of time and effort into their classwork, looking for ways to optimize their time management and to connect with their professors so that they can learn well and prepare themselves well for life beyond college! We love to see athletes who work hard on the court every day to improve and who are also fully dedicated to being the best students they can be. Makayla, Brooke, and Amaya are in different majors but came into SPU together, and it's really fun to see how they are committed to each other as teammates and to setting a standard when it comes to success on the court and in the classroom."
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's Volleyball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
