Nine Falcons Earn GNAC All-Academic Honors

PORTLAND, Ore. – The Great Northwest Athletic Conference announced its Men's and Women's Cross Country All-Academic Team, presented by Barnes & Noble College on Wednesday afternoon, which featured two men and seven women from the Seattle Pacific University teams.

"We're obviously proud of our student-athletes who are able to have success both athletically and academically," assistant coach Eric Hansen said. "There is a similar kind of discipline required to be a great student and a great distance runner, and we love having people who love to work hard. It's good to know that they are setting themselves up well for what they will all be doing after they graduate."

To qualify for Academic All-Conference, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20, be in their second season or later competing for their team, and have competed on the field during the 2025 season.

Isaac Venable, Matise Mulch, and Katelyn Flolo lead the Falcons as three-time selections to the GNAC All-Academic Team presented by Barnes & Noble College. Anna Prussian is the only two-time selection for the Falcons. Nathan Korth, Maya Ewing, Alexa Gossett, Lucia Templeton, and Nicole Pierce are all making their first appearance on the list.

Templeton is one of seven student-athletes in the conference that sports a spotless 4.00 GPA. Gossett isn't far behind her teammate with a 3.99 GPA.
