ABOUT THE FALCONS
- The Falcons competed at the Whitworth Peace Meet on April 3, turning in several standout performances.
- SPU's 4x400-meter team of Robert Joshua, Ben Rojas, Justin Brooks, and Tawaf Aboudou set a new school record of 3:14.66, beating out the previous record of 3:18.05 set in 2005.
- The time was the second-fastest mark in the GNAC this season behind a 3:10.64 from Western Washington.
- Rojas' 48.51 was a new personal best in the 400-meter dash.
- Brooke Mosby's 56.58 in the 400-meter was a new personal best.
- Avery Erickson posted a substantial personal best in the 3,000-meter steeple with his time of 9:12.07.
- Alexa Gossett recorded a personal best in the 5,000-meter run when she clocked a 17:10.00.
- Maya Ewing won the women's 3,000-meter steeple chase with a time of 10:51.42.
- Ewing set the fastest time in the GNAC this season with her performance on Friday.
- Anna Prussian clocked a 37:11.26 in the 10,000-meter run.
- It was the fourth-fastest time in the GNAC this season.
- Aboudou earned an event win in the triple jump with a mark of 47-02.50.
- It was the second-best triple jump mark in the GNAC this season.
- Several Falcons are near the top of the Great Northwest Athletic Conference rankings with their best marks this season.
- Aboudou ranks fifth in the 100-meter dash with his time of 10.66 from the OSU PNW Invite.
- Aboudou also ranks second in the GNAC in long jump with a mark of 11-11.75 from the Pyeton-Shotwell Invitational.
- Mason Hrcek ranks third in the pole vault with his season's best 14'11 at the PLU Open.
- Jada Sarrys ran a 12.19 in the 100-meter dash at the Peyton-Shotwell Invitational, the fifth-best time in the GNAC this season.
- Sarrys also has the fifth-best time in the 200 meters with a 24.91 in the same meet.
- Hannah Chang's 14.42 in the 100-hurdles at the Peyton-Shotwell Invitational is the second fastest time in the GNAC this season.
- Lysandra Plant ranks fifth in the conference in javelin with her best mark of 127-05 from the OSU PNW Invite.
