"We're on the road this week," head coach Arby Busey said. "It should be a challenge with the travel. For us, we'll need to be at the top of our game to get results. NNU and CWU have been very competitive in the games they have played thus far and will demand our best to be successful."

WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL
Saturday, Oct. 11 – 12:00 p.m.
at MSU Billings – watchlive stats

FROM THE COACH
"We only have two times each season when we only have a single match in a week," head coach Jason Rhine said. "On these weeks we play MSU Billings, we try to do a great job at taking a moment to reflect on what has gone well and what are some small tweaks we can make for each player individually and as a team to see if we can improve on those things in a week with an extra practice session and also only one match to prepare for.  We, the coaches, have seen some really good progress from our team in practices and matches, and we are excited to see if we can continue to build on that this week. MSU Billings is a new place to play for some of our players, so we will also want to ensure we are mentally and physically ready to compete hard against an opponent with a new coach who has been successful in slowing down strong teams in our conference. It's ultimately another chance to get our first road GNAC win of the year, which is never an easy task, and the team is excited to compete hard with that objective in mind."

CROSS COUNTRY
Saturday, Oct. 11 – 10:00 a.m.
at the Emerald City Open

FROM THE COACH
"We're looking forward to racing at Lower Woodland Park," assistant coach Eric Hansen said. "We run there for practice quite a bit, so it feels like a home meet for us. We have had some workouts on that course in the last month. Between that, getting to sleep in their own beds, and only having a 10-minute drive from campus, this should feel like practice. Central Washington is competing as well, and they are one of the only GNAC teams we haven't seen yet this season. It will be good to have one more test against another conference team before the championships in two weeks."
