Seven Falcons Earn GNAC All-Conference Nods

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Great Northwest Athletic Conference announced its women's soccer postseason awards on Wednesday afternoon, featuring seven members of the Seattle Pacific University women's soccer team, led by first team selections of Kayla Wallace, Maya Parman, and Ashlyn Valdovinos.

Wallace has been one of the best scorers in the GNAC throughout 2025. She leads the Falcons and ranks third in the conference with 10 goals. Wallace has scored four game-winning goals for SPU this season. Wallace has started every game for the Falcons and has 20 points. Wallace is appearing on the All-GNAC team for the first time as a unanimous First Team Selection.

Parman has been a consistent presence for the Falcons this season, starting every game for SPU. Her only goal was a game-winner against Cal State East Bay on Sept. 18. Parman has three assists and five points for the Falcons. Like Wallace, Parman is making her first appearance on the GNAC All-Conference team.

Valdovinos has appeared in 18 games for the Falcons, making 15 starts in 2025. She's scored three goals this season, with her best game happening against Saint Martin's on Sept. 25. Valdovinos scored two goals against the Saints, including the game-winner. She has two assists and eight points for the Falcons this season. Valdovinos was a Second Team selection in 2024 and is now a First Team selection in 2025.

Taylor Krueger's long list of accolades continues to grow with the Falcons. She started every game for the Falcons in 2025, scoring four goals and adding four assists for a total of 12 points. Krueger had game-winners against Point Loma on Sept. 4 and Central Washington on Oct. 23. She was the GNAC Newcomer of the Year and Honorable Mention in 2023. Krueger was named GNAC Co-Player of the Year and a unanimous First Team selection in 2025. She earned a GNAC Honorable Mention in conference honors in 2025.

Mercedes Cullen was named an Honorable Mention in 2025. She started every game in goal for the Falcons this season. She faced 105 shots, made 30 saves, and posted a 5-2-2 record for the Falcons. She allowed 1.24 goals per game and has a save percentage of .698. Cullen shut out Point Loma on Sept. 4 and Northwest Nazarene on Oct. 25.

Grace Gouran's first year with the Falcons was GNAC Honorable Mention worthy. She started 18 games for SPU, scoring two goals and four points this season. She scored against MSU Denver on Sept. 11 and at Simon Fraser on Nov. 1. The award is the first of Gouran's career with the Falcons.

Ella Smith rounds out the selections for SPU by being named Honorable Mention. She was a key piece to a defense that had eight shutouts this season. She had one assist against Western Oregon on Sept. 27. Like Gouran, this is the first GNAC postseason award for Smith.

The Falcons enter the 2025 Great Northwest Athletic Conference Championships as the fourth seed and will face off against top-seeded Western Washington on Thursday, Nov. 13, in Burnaby, B.C.
