SEATTLE – The D2 Conference Commissioners Associations (D2 CCA) announced its women's soccer All-Region team on Tuesday afternoon, with Seattle Pacific's
Kayla Wallace and
Ashlyn Valdovinos selected as Second Team members for the 2025 season.
Wallace had a tremendous goal-scoring season for the Falcons in 2025. Wallace started all 20 games for the Falcons, leading the team with 10 goals and 20 points scored. Wallace went on a tear over the final 10 games of the season, scoring nine of her 10 goals during that stretch. Wallace led the team with four game-winning goals this season. She had one multi-goal game, scoring twice against Central Washington on Oct. 23. Wallace made her first appearance on the GNAC All-Conference team in 2025 as a unanimous First Team All-GNAC Selection. She's now a D2 CCA West Region Second Team member.
Valdovinos appeared in 19 matches and made 16 starts for the Falcons in 2025. She scored three goals, dished out three assists, and finished the year with nine points. Valdovinos scored two goals against Saint Martin's on Sept. 25. She assisted on goals in three of her final four matches of the season. Valdovinos was selected as a First Team All-GNAC member, made an appearance on the GNAC All-Academic team for the second time, and is now a D2 CCA West-Region Second Teamer.
"It is great to see Ashlyn and Kayla recognized for all their hard work," head coach
Arby Busey said. "Both of them were amazing all season for our program, and made huge individual contributions to our team's success. Their selections are well deserved."
