PORTLAND, Ore. - The Great Northwest Athletic Conference announced its Men's Basketball All-Academic Team presented by Barnes & Noble College on Wednesday afternoon, with eight members of the Seattle Pacific University men's basketball team earning recognition, the most since the 2017-18 season.
"We're certainly proud of each of these guys, and the academic performance of our team has put on thus far with our 3.55 GPA in the fall," head coach
Keffrey Fazio said. "Academic excellence is something we strive for in our program and in the Athletics department here at SPU. Again, I'm just proud to shine the light on our amazing student-athletes."
SPU put eight players on the GNAC All-Academic Team, the most since the 2017-18 season. SPU led the GNAC in All-Academic Team elections with eight, two more than the next closest team.
Logan Kinloch leads the Falcons and the conference with a 3.97 grade point average. Kinloch is joined by
Julian Mora and
Nikias Schoenerstedt in making their second appearance on the GNAC All-Academic Team.
Trace Evans leads the Falcons with his third appearance on the GNAC All-Academic Team.
Grant Coleman,
Theo McMillan,
Henry Sandberg, and
David Zachman are appearing on the list for the first time with the Falcons.
To qualify for Academic All-Conference, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20, be in their second season or later competing for their team, and have competed on the court during the 2025-26 season.
