Krueger & Snedeker named USC All-West Region

SEATTLE – The United Soccer Coaches announced its All-Region teams, with Seattle Pacific's Taylor Krueger being selected First Team All-West Region. At the same time, Lauren Snedeker was picked for Second Team honors.

"More well-deserved accolades for both Taylor and Lauren," head coach Arby Busey said. "The accolades provide further evidence of the amazing seasons they had."

Krueger continues to add to a long list of accolades earned throughout her career with the Falcons. She earned her second Great Northwest Athletic Conference specialty award in two seasons with the Falcons. Last year, she was named the conference Newcomer of the Year. In 2024, Krueger shared a piece of the GNAC Player of the Year and was a unanimous First Team selection. She was already recognized as a D2CAA First Team All-West Region selection. Now, the United Soccer Coaches have made her a First Team All-West Region honoree.

Krueger created in many ways for the Falcons throughout 2024. She led SPU with six goals, including a game-winner against Montana State University Billings on Nov. 26. She's finished the year tied for fourth in the conference in goals. Krueger started all 18 matches during the regular season, ranking second in the conference with 55 shots for an average of 3.06 per game.

Krueger's ability to find teammates was excellent. She accumulated seven assists in the year, the third-highest in the GNAC. Krueger's total of 19 points was the second-most in the conference.

"Taylor played a huge role in our attacking all season long, scoring goals and providing assists," Busey said. "The timeliness of Taylor's contributions was huge as well. She was very influential in the most decisive moments throughout the fall. When we needed a goal, she came through more often than not."

Snedeker joins Kruger on the USC All-West Region list as a Second Team member. She was named a unanimous First Team All-GNAC selection on Nov. 11. She's set a single-season best with three goals this season. She's had one assist and seven points this season. It's Snedeker's second First Team All-GNAC selection. She was a Second Team member in 2022. She was a First Team D2CCAA All-West Region selection a season ago and has been named to the GNAC All-Academic team three times.

"Lauren was an absolute rock for us in our midfield, and was extremely good on both sides of the ball," Busey said. "She was great for us in possession and getting the ball to teammates, as well as recovering the ball for our team when we didn't have it. The leadership she provided us was huge in the success we shared this season."
